The ending was so bleak that I couldn’t even appreciate the rest of the episode. It set the whole season off on a bad note.

I tried to keep watching but I couldn’t finish episode two. It was so boring.

Eulogy is one of the only episodes that will stick with me. It felt a lot more like classic Black Mirror.

So many good points! I think they were going for shock factor with this ending without much thought put into it. My takeaway was that the episode was a metaphor for the meaning of life & time, and I’m really glad to read your perspective!

Oooh I like how you thought of it. That's interesting. There were some fleeting shots that felt like the memory scenes in Arrival. I totally respect how they were roasting the subscription service model and I know biotech is growing, but this felt like the wrong way to say "fuck you" to the streaming model.

Yes!! I’ll have to check out Arrival, haven’t heard of it before. The ad concept was interesting/freaky to think about but I think if they truly were trying to explore the ethics of it all, it came away a bit distasteful? Naive? Not sure how to articulate it
